It's definitely got alot of trees and shadows...

here's mine... I get 150fps without vsync but it's smoother with no tearing using vsync

Slight program change for this Friday night. Brianza has been swapped out for Oran Park. Some frame rate issues for some people and a chance to sink our teeth into the new version of a great Aussie track are to blame.

Oran Park sucked hard arse for me but Portugal is a ripper. Can't wait. Best track I've drivin on in rF2 so far I reckon.

I found I got a significant FPS boost by running the game in windowed mode rather than fullscreen. Saw this idea on the ISI forums somewhere. Sounds strange but it works. Multiview (if you have a triple head setup) also majorly drains the FPS)

How do I get a better Frame Rate?
This is a graphic intense sim but this seems to have helped everyone that I race with.
You need to do this in the order posted for it to work correctly.
1- While in the game, go to the Graphics/Audio tab.
Set Opponent Detail and Player Detail to LOW.
Exit the game.
2-Open the YourName.PLR file.
Scroll down to [ Graphic Options ] and look for these lines.
Player Texture Override="-1"
Opponent Texture Override="-1"
You can change the number from 1-3
Low texture= 1
medium= 2
High= 3
I suggest the 3 setting like so
Player Texture Override="3"
Opponent Texture Override="3"
Don't forget to take out the - sign when doing this
Basically you get the lower detail model but with higher res skins.

New update to the mod here version .928

includes the McLaren Mp4 and the ISI Camaro...

This weeks track will be Laguna Seca to test the new shit on a road course, Indianapolis will return later in the roster...

here are some of the many updates compared to .901 that we were using...


tyres temp and wear are now better ,but you need to stay clean on road and have a good setup..

reworked 997 : new gear box , new final ratio

- updated z4 physics for correct the aleatory game ctd with this car
- new gear box on the 854
- less oversteer on the 799
- every car receveid new from scratch chassis flex file made with the ISI tool
- every car have a new damage file , based on camaro gt3 isi file
- updated cockpit rendering ,external and internal window with the new tone mapper isi

Turbo engine physics

- pit time are the same now for all the cars

- corrected mp4 rbump who dissapear in high settings

- corrected mp4 engine who explode sometime in draft situation

- corrected chassis flex on the 458 and 997 , less slide effect less wear ,grip feeling enhanced , less understeer

- camaro veh filter reworked for avoid the problem with the isi camaro

- last cpm tyres on all the cars ,tyre wear adjusted

- last b.o.p (balance of performance) on all cars

Some of us accidentally drove some ISI content and ruined the GT3 mod :dry: :(

On a more positive note...

This Friday GODZILLA at Bathurst

Server setup different now, if you have the car and track you're in. If you don't have it just join the server and you will automatically get missing components.
