This is not the final car selection, but I am trying to base it around this car and/or a few similar performing cars. I started some testing last week and should hopefully have a list in a week or two.

To try and fit with the wacky rules and racing that is Lemons racing, we have a few unique rules.

As mentioned previously, this will be a random draw to see who drives which car. This will be done on the night of the race, so best to get practice in and work on a setup for each of the three cars.

To try and level things out a bit the following are vehicle specific rules. The Mazda drivers will have to make at least one pitstop and take on 20L of fuel (takes about 44 seconds). The Lada drivers will have to make one pitstop and take on 40L of fuel (takes about 52 seconds). The Lupo drivers will be required to make at least two pitstops and take on 44L of fuel both times (only takes about 6 seconds to fill up the tank in this car). No tires are allowed to be changed, no matter how badly you need them. TIRE CHANGES ARE NOT ALLOWED. There are two reasons for this. The Mazda takes over 2 minutes to change tires, and the Lupo is not able to change tires at all. All cars seem to have about the same tire wear as well, and you will need to driver appropriately to try and make them last. It will also help to make things more interesting as the race goes on I hope.

Rules may be added at any time without notice as well. Things such as a random pit party, or a competition caution for no reason. There could even be challenges that need to be completed during your pitstop, but that may be pushing my abilities if I am also trying to race.

I am still a bit undecided on how to do the draw. Should everyone have the same chance at each car, or once a car is drawn, should it be left out of the next draw?

For example, say there are 5 Miatas in the hat, 5 Ladas and 5 Lupos. If the first one drawn is a Miata, then should it be 4, 5 and 5 or should it be 5,5 and 5 again.

I may decide to favor one car over the others as well. So maybe start with 8 Miatas, 5 Ladas and 3 Lupos for example.

Still a bit to think about. If anyone has an opinion either way, post here.

The lada runs out of puff back straight needs another gear as you will run motor hot for sure.
